Yea ive played you at one of the catonsville fest.. it was my first smashfest ever... i cant come to the UMBC tournament though because im at frostburg.. i dont have a way home..

Work on edgeguarding space animals. Most of the times you can just counter it, if they perfectly sweetspot, then use dtilt. Fsmash is riskier but pays off when you space it right.
The fair is easier to combo with than the uair because the uair has very little knockback when not sweetspotted, trying using it more.
Overall, pretty good Marth.

Well when we fought we were pretty even, plus both of us were pretty new to the scene. Ive improved alot though so... how did u do against Young Breezy(K.C. Cloud) i Heard u fought him at Chu-dat's fest in january.

K.C. Cloud 3 stocked me the one game we played in January at Chu's fest. I didn't know how to l-cancel at the time, and his falco was pretty technical. I don't think there is any way a marth can beat a falco without l-canceling. Anyhow, I have since improved my marth's technical skills dramatically and learned how to fight falco. Falcos I can beat consistently now: all from Bmore's Finest, all from MRK, anyone else from Baltimore, and I beat Kaiser's falco in tournament. I've gotten gimpy at that matchup lol. My hardest matchups now with marth are vs sheik, falcon, peach (probably cause I play amazing peaches), and sometimes Jigglypuff if he lands a rest.

Your marth looks good. I hope to see you at another event by summer.

The one marth I still have alot of problems with is Cactuar's marth, who I use fox against now. You gonna be at pound 2? We'll put my knoledge of how to play marth vs your knoledge of how to gimp falco lol. No Marth in Bmore has beaten my falco. Excluding KenJT.

I had just recently starting maining Falco (like that day) instead of fox at that time, and I think we played on Yoshi's story... I'm not sure. I beat Kaiser's marth there lol.

Sorry, my friend was messing with me and posted something stupid. You have a pretty good Marth, but I'd suggest using more Fairs instead of those Uairs. If your going to use the Uair then just work on its spacing.

Man I need to remember to log out when I leave the computer. Anyway I noticed that you missed the L-cancel on your ledgehoped aerials, so work on that. You did a nice job of getting him off the edge, but then you let him come back. Use the D-tilt for edgeguarding and space that F-smash, you can even use counter against the spacies. You could also grab the ledge and ledgehop a Bair. You also need to jump cancel your grabs. All in all your Marth is slow and defensive. Not a bad style of play but when you did go on the offense you didn't keep it going. You got a jab here and there and got very few combos. There were a lot of times where you could've gotten a free grab on Falco, like after the you Fair'd him and you both landed on the ground. Instead you just up tilted>No combo. I think you just need to fight fast fallers more often and figure out what combos them at what percentages and what you can do out of a throw. I like that you can use jabs in your combos, but I think an up tilt would work better as it's easier to combo out of.

Nice. Where is Pound 2 located? If it's in the area and I can get a ride with someone from Bmore or Husband, then I'll come. I don't like to travel too much cause of classes.

Yoshi's Story is actually not a bad stage for falco. It can really keep the pressure up and stay inside marth on that stage. On the other hand, there are clear disadvantages such as platform utilt and tippers, and little running space for lasers or staying away from marth's sword and grab.

Fox vs marth gives me trouble. ChaosKnight's fox beat me in tournament last month. However, I do well against foxes below his level.

Yea, we'll definitely have to get fox v marth. I told you back then you'd improve really fast if you stuck to it, looks like you did just that. Playing you should be alot of fun next time.
