Hey, I havent been doing too well and I feel like my level of skill is starting to plateau
Desperately need help, I know I need to punish and space alot better more but if you would like to say that then that's fine, emphasis on what's important is good - I try to be very open mined with what others say so I'll pretty much take anything into some type of consideration.

I'm Red Marth

Feel free to critique the video's in a comentary type fashion where you write the time and say "I think that..." for the whole thing; those are cool

Could you not post Marth dittos? They're hard to critique since fighting a Marth ditto is completely different from a typical battle.

Anyway, I'm critiquing both of you, but I'll just say a bunch of random crap that both of you can take into account for. I watched only the second match.

Don't use Dair on-stage, too much post lag. This happened a lot for some reason.

Don't Dolphin Slash recover really high from the ledge, that was pointless and cost you a stock.

Too much Fsmash and smashes in general. Don't use them to end a "combo" unless it will kill. Save their knockback for later.

Double Fair isn't too good of an approach. It only worked because neither of you abuse that shield.

In my opinion, too much rolling, as well as trying to look fancy and cool, which doesn't work. When you use Dancing Blade, finish it unless you're too close into the foe, then maybe a grab will work.

Red Marth used too much Counter on his second stock. He could have been punished badly if Blue Marth knew when the lag of the move is.

Red Marth needs to refine shorthopping, he used fullhops almost all the time.

From 0%, you can do Down Throw to tipper Fsmash instead of a Fair chain.

You more tilts, especially Dtilt in place of Dsmash as Dtilt is VERY safe when tipped, and may allow a follow-up to Dancing Blade.

You guys should try dash -> shield to slide with momentum in shield -> press grab in shield. A shield grab is safer as an approach, and has less lag.

Both of you work on this and it'll be fine.

Also, I turned off the sound, so if I was suppose to hear something, please let me know. <_< You guys kinda joked around in this particular match, but that's fine.

Below-Average spacing
Double fair is terrible and only works on low level opponents

You'd do the entire dancing blade combo even if none of the hits actually made contact, if the first hit misses then just stop

Whenever your opponent made a mistake and had an opening you would just roll >_>

Okay, just listen to ever blunt Suzumiya, Haruhi preach her wisdom to this forsaken board.

I, Kyon, will be narrating elsewhere. <_<

Work on what we told you before you post newer battles.

don't always stop after the first hit... but most of the time yeah. sometimes i keep going if i see them running/rolling/jumping/falling into it. if they shield, just stop and shieldbreaker. they dodge the first, keep going.
