Y'know how you can use Marth's final smash in the air?

Well, if you were too far to normally recover, is using the final smash like Falco's/Fox's side a viable recovery move?

Anyway, sorry for the scrubby posts, I don't really play Brawl but just want to know if these types of things have a chance of working.

I had training mode open so I tested this quickly. You re-gain control of Marth after you cancel his final smash, so it would still be best to recover low and DS to the ledge. It seems to have punishable end-lag, but I'm not sure. It's not exactly relevant frame data...

That was a good waste of a minute.

Yea, but...
Would you really save the final smash for that moment when you're knocked off? It might get knocked out of you. And that's assuming you are playing with FS. Items, of course, aren't used in professional play.
