That fact that there is nothing leaked yet may imply that Nintendo wants everything held in check until August 12th. I highly doubt this but maybe a newcomer will be revealed Monday and then the issue will have information on the character the next day!? Again highly doubtful but just a thought.

It is always possible. I have come across people, in real life, that prefer Super Smash Brothers rather than the games the characters from.

That is literally everyone I know who's around my age.

Doubtful. There'd at least be new images in the scans at the least.

And there are some revealed veterans and newcomers we still don't know a few details about.

It might not be ''OMG ICE CLIMBERS AND WARIO!" but there's sure to be small details.

CoroCoro is Japanese only and most events that reveal a newcomer ave always been worldwide with the exception of maybe E3 but I don't know the full details. The best we'll get is clarification on some of the modes, stages, and custom movesets.

As I said it is very unlikely to happen, and I would be very shocked if it did more so then if they don't reveal anything but I can hope.

I don't expect anything from CoroCoro, but I'm not saying it's impossible that they reveal something new. Maybe something smaller like a veteran?

I don't know if I'm expecting anything to be revealed, but considering how much Pokemon stuff they have been allowed to reveal, I won't be surprised to see something, if it's a stage, character, or items.

I kinda doubt for a character reveal, seeing how popular Smash is in other countries. If there is a character reveal, it would probably be behind closed doors then later to be uploaded online or, like in most trailers, has to be a event beforehand to present the trailer.

I've seen people claiming Bulbapedia somehow caused the leaker to delete all the scans he put up and he isn't putting up anymore. Not sure how Bulbapedia would be behind that or why they would get him in trouble for it but, that's just what some people are claiming.

I remember during X/Y, there was a huge blowup about Bulbapedia supposedly going on a crusade against leaks. Lots of nasty things were said about them after that (specifically the main guy behind the site), and it was just really weird. Internet at its finest. Here's hoping this has nothing to do with that mess.
