This should be good, incoming 20 trophies I could care less about lol. Trophies were novel a while ago but ever since at least melee there have been so many that I really couldn't care less about getting them much less reading the descriptions on all of them. Trophies in general no longer interest me, if only I was a completionist.

I'm definitely not expecting any newcomers, since I don't think we'll be getting any newcomers appearing outside of a trailer for their first appearance.

I think it's possible we'll see some vets - Ganondorf and Wario are surely in Smash 4 so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them. I'm hoping we'll be seeing Ness and Jigglypuff, but I kind of doubt that. Maybe Ice Climbers and an official G&W confirmation, though.

I think this is probably the best way to look at it. We've had several events lately, and very little information has come out of any of them. Perhaps it's pessimistic to say, but I don't actually expect anything from the magazine, character-wise. We'll probably learn about the games in general, modes and the like, but I'm reluctant to expect much more than that.

Idk if this was already known but the website at the bottom of the gamemode scan (I'm new and can't post links yet) has a couple other scans as well. These obviously are not all the scans, but there's Palutena and Pit ones along with the game mode one. The only new info I pulled from it was a few new custom moves and MAYBE a default moveset for Palutena, but it wasn't clear about it.

Yeah those are from a different magazine called Famitsu. Sakurai writes a weekly column, and has started a weekly fighter's profile.

Veteran wise, if a revamped Ganondorf is included with some details on a new moveset, that'll basically be like getting a newcomer for me since He'll no longer be 'Falcondorf' *shudders*

Regardless, I'll be happy with whatever new information is included. New information is always a plus. Character, stage, items, it doesn't matter.

Also, I'm not really expecting any newcomers, just some current and (maybe) new stages for the 3DS version, and some more in-depth details about Simple Mode and what the 3DS version covers. I'm also expecting an updated roster featuring the current characters we have so far.

It would be advised that you do not throw around the term "leak" liberally. CoroCoro does not send a team of highly trained ninjas to infilitrate the Bandai Namco studios. They are given a limited amount of information to pitch an article. A "leak" and an official 1st party or official 3rd party statement has drastically different connotations, if people have not already learned from the Gematsu debacle.

With that in mind, you are free to change the thread title to something that actually represents what it is, if you wish.

I'm hoping within the next 18 hours SOMEONE will throw us a bone, but I'm not exactly sure. I literally just pulled 18 hours outta the air. Maybe it'll be 18 minutes!

Right now it's about 10:30AM in Japan. Anything can happen, but being a Pokemon fan, I'm used to how these things go. People talk about how these usually leak a week early, but in reality it is totally random. Sometimes it comes earlier than that, and sometimes even closer to street date - only a couple days early. It's not an official thing. Someone is scanning a magazine before the street date and uploading it at the risk of getting in trouble, basically. I mean, you don't think CoroCoro wants people in Japan to buy the magazine to read the articles and comics for themselves?

So while it may very well come tonight, don't stay up waiting for it. It is by no means a sure thing unless you hear someone like Serebii (who has a lot of international contacts and such) saying that the magazine will be leaked at a certain date, which he never does anyway. It will come when it will come.

Sometimes you get one page, or a horrible-quality cell phone shot you can't read, and you don't get anything more for days. It's like torture to wait for CoroCoro. Best just to check on it once or twice a day.

its not a leak thread.
It's a thread for a magazine that will have Smash info, that just happens to be leaking soon.
And it's not like it's a random leak with no credibility. It's from an official magazine, so anything in this leak will definitely be true, unless there is a typo.

What I'm more interested in is how much detail there's going to be on each character. It really sounds like they could be going in-depth on the characters we have.. and that might include the Final Smashes for Peach, D3 and others that we have VERY little info on. MIght spell the difference between life and death for Bandana Waddle Dee in the self-proclaimed King's case.

Meta Knight was one of my mains in Brawl, and Ice Climbers...they can't get rid of Ice Climbers. They did Rosalina and Luma, so 3DS capabilities shouldn't be a problem.
