i was messin around on FD and found this kinda cool glitch. its basically foxes reflector but invisible. so to do it choose fox and final destination.it probably works every where but Fd is the best place to do it.

first get on one side. then run towards the edge of the stage and dont stop. right before you are about to go off the stage do fox's down b. the shine. if you do it correctly fox will be doing the reflector animation. he will also glide in the air about the length of luigis wavedash and it will make the "bleep" noise but the blue hexagon wont be there. if you do it incorrectly fow will glide in the air but the reflector will be there. or another thing that happens is just a sparkle and a little puff of smoke will come out.

try it out. it may take about 5 minutes but trust me it works and its pretty cool. pause it if you get it to work so you can have a better look. if it hits an enemy it will still deal damage and knockback.

its basically usless but i posted it if anyone wants to try it. it doesnt work with falco because hes too slow and doesnt have as much momentum as fox.

I'm not sure but when I do this people say they go further from the shine.

Not to mention you keep your jump and are in perfect spot to shine again against most characters.

It's a great feeling to -think- you've discovered something only to have it rejected because that technique was discovered in the 7 years Melee has been out D;

Agreed.

To the OP: don't let this discourage you! I believe someone just discovered a new tech a month or so ago (dash-platform drop?), so never be afraid to try to discover new things.
