Cool bomb multiplying

I was fooling around with Samus' bombs and i did this thing. It's not that useful, but it's pretty cool.

On a stage with a slope (Corneria is what I used) if you do her down-b bomb on a slope and hold the down button on the control stick, you will shift forward and create more bombs and the only button you're holding is down (as if you were crouching). Try it out and tell me what you guys think.

^thank you Underdog for the example

edit: i thought it was useless, but i guess it can get you out of SOME situations. but since this situational and requiring a stage with slopes, i don't really consider it too great.

Whaaaa? Chain Bombing anyone? But yeah sounds kind of weird. Anyone able to reproduce/get video proof. I'm going to try now. Need to practice some other stuff too.

Edit: I'll do it tomorrow, it's situation and more than likely useless anyways.

I got it to work.

If you drop a bomb on some slopes and hold down, immediately after the bomb 'splodes Samus automatically drops another - even if you don't hit B again. I don't believe it allows you to drop them more rapidly or anything useful, but it's good to have out there in case someone else can expand on this unto something usable.

Well it gives Samus some nice options with certain stages, its a shame though that sloped stages hinder the charge shot and her missiles a lot, so it would be tough to pick, but on the bright side it would make it more difficult for your opponent to find a stage where Samus doesnt have something useful. Slopes = Bomb multiplying and a nice flat stage...well great for the missiles and charge shot.

Well that will be the case if something comes of this anyways.

I didn't get it to work but I wasn't doing it right. I forgot the part about only holding down, and remembered the shifting forward part so I was holding diagonal forward down. But I did get some results similar to Tudor's bomb tricks.

Okay, after a really long time of testing this out, I have concluded that this trick is useless and you might as well just press b-down if you want a second bomb.

thank god im not going crazy, this whole time reading the thread i was wondering why it is so troubling for people to press b since that is the only difference

My main reason for (s)trolling through the Samus forums was to assist with fighting Pits... >_>

yeah it's pretty useless. the b down wouldn't really shift you though. the point of the second bomb is the shift.
