Event - MLG Anaheim 2014 Controller Usage At MLG ?

are you allowed to use a Classic Controller at MLG?
that is my main controller that i usee...
it isnot modded
no turbo button
juss a few of the controls have been re arranged for my liking
plus
im not even use to a GC controller anymore =/
i tried..but i just can't .. Lol

no you are not.

unless you have the one that is specially formatted to plug directly into the wii.

nevermind
i found something called the class linker?
it's an adapter where i can plug my classic into it and it goes into the GC slots
will i, now, be able to play with this at MLG ?

From speculation, you are allowed to use controllers not manufactured by Nintendo. Although you are not allowed to use controllers with additional buttons, there is no real statement saying that the Gamecube controller is the official controller of the event. It just says a "wired controller" to my knowledge. Since the Classic Controller was in fact designed by Nintendo, if it's wired, you MIGHT be able to use it, but I don't know for sure.

I'd wager no, since while the Classic is 'wired' it's plugged into the Wiimote which is wireless.
