Funny thing is: Brawl doesn't have THAT much to translate. Yes, it's into a few languages but all it is is menus, trophies and stuff. I mean, the storymode (or what we've seen so far) seems SILENT.

I honestly would not be surprised at all if the game gets delayed again. In fact, I'm expecting it. I've been a Nintendo fan long enough to know that NO release schedule from them is solid, no matter HOW close to its current intended date.

Seriously, stop complaining about the delay. Obviously they are trying their best to make this the best game ever, and all you guys can do is sit and whine about it . For the europeans and austrailians I feel sorry for you, but the americans that are *****ing I just can't tolerate. Look at what he's done, he's even put up a website where he updates daily additions to the game! Cmon guys, he's put in so much effort to make this a great game, and we just yell at him and attack him constantly. Why don't you give it a rest, and go pick up your melee or something for awhile. I don't care how many times he delays it, it'll be fine for me.

WHAT THE ****!? It was delayed AGAIN? Why is it everytime the game is about to come out, they delay it for 2 months away from us? October, it was delayed for two months. January, it was delayed for one month, which is still two months. Screw this. I'm getting my monty back because I'm smart enough to know this game isn't getting released until MAYBE Christmas of 2008 IF we're lucky. Nintendo's been pissing me off since 2006. Of course they have to do something big like this to piss me off in 2008.

Please don't get angry like this cause Nintendo delayed again. Believing it will come out Holiday 08 is just irrational. Just chill till March 9th.

Perhaps, but I have yet to encounter even one European or Australian being so zealous over a delay as to warrant spamming, cursing, you name it. You know why? They got used to it. Delays are a common thing in those areas.

To all of those who are complaining about the delay saying that Nintendo is just favoring their own country:

The Wii got more hype in Japan than we give hype to SSBB here.
We got it before them.
So stop yer *****in.

If the supposes rumors are true, that the game went gold a few days ago, they needed the delay a week to insure that the game itself would be ready to hit the shelves.

For Americans? Translation, Printing, and Shipping.
If the game just recently went gold in Japan less than a week ago, then it obvious this delay was coming.
The way I've been told on how Nintendo works with translations is that when the game goes gold in Japan, at that time, or near it, the game is sent to NOA and they begin translating.
Then you have to give them around a week or two to actually print the game itself, and then ship the games, in this case apparently, a week before the release.

It was released in America about 1 year after Wii's launch.

He has nothing to do with the delay.
It's because a lack of hardware, speak Wii Optical Discs. There aren't enough for a big release, that's why it is delayed. It is NOT delayed because of bug fixing (well maybe the 1 week for Japan, but not the month for the US).

The delay really sucks, i've been waiting sience it was announced and here I am..yup still waiting. So I decided to go ahead and order a japanese wii and a Smash brothers X copy. Sure I have to pay way more in order to play ssbb sooner, but its well worth it imo.

So there's been a lot of arguing, debating, and complaints about the Brawl delay....

lNow, I'm not going to clain to be a prophet or anything, but I'm about 99% sure why Brawl was delayed

It wasn't until just recently, when Sakurai and company had finally completed and finished creating Captain Falcon (there were much complications on arranging pixels in such a god like form such as the Capt'n) thus why he hasn't been updated on the dojo yet.

Now you see, the past week has been spent alpha and beta testing Mr. Falcon.........HOWEVER, one major complication arised

Whenever Captain Falcon was pitted in a match with Solid Snake, the Wii hardware would start smoking and heating over. The graphics would botch, as the pixels simply could not display both stunning physiques at the same time. When both Captain Falcon and Snake came into contact, the Wii would explode due to an overload in both "badass" and "smexy" levels (over 9000!).

as you could expect, it was due to this that Brawl was delayed, and the brawl team will be spending from now until march creating an "alternate costume system" which will posses a Snake with bunny ears, lolliypop, and cosmo magazine and Captain Falcon with a raincoat covering his chest and knee braces, whenever the two are in the same match.

now seriously peoples, I'm upset too, but delays happen, and happen for the better.

Being released right before spring break is pretty bad though.....seeing as many will be busy, travelling, partying etc.... that or you could re-name it "brawl break" and STD (smash till dawn) with your friend all day, every day

I think the delay is because Miyamoto realized that the delays is selling Wiis =P
Or just because they dont have enough Wii Discs, I guess Sakurai and his companions are drowning in preorders.
Anyways, my guess on the European release is, 29th March!

I think everyone should stop whining, it might be because Nintendo had so many more preorders from stores, they need to make more copies... at any rate, it's pretty nice of Sakurai to put so much effort into making the ultimate multiplayer game of infinite replay value, God forbid the game you'll be playing for the next decade is delayed 30 days... geesh!

Please let this delay bring the PAL and North American release dates closer to each other.

AND THEY BETTER REVEAL THE PAL RELEASE DATE WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK! Even if it isn't the 'real' one and they delay. It'd still be worth it.

This wil hopefully turn out like Mario Galaxy. Australians and Europeans get it in the same month as America.

You don't know how frustrating it is that we haven't got a clue when we're getting it. Every day I go on the site to see no Notice telling us "Good News!!! you get brawl on April 3rd" or something along those lines

I really don't get mad at the delays anymore.
I have a lot of confidence on teh team working on this game.
I can imagine the team getting all prepaired to launch the game and then one raises his arm and says "What about...." And they go back to work on the game.
Or something like "Oh wait...what about putting this...that would be very cool! they'll love that!"

They must have reason to delay the game, obviously. Either for money reasons or stuff in the actual game. They REALLY care about the game.

It reminds me of "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King". They were editing the film a week before it came out or something like that.
And they were filming after they received the Oscars.....

I trust the guys. They REALLY want to give us the best game they can, and they're doing their best. If that means delaying the game till AFTER june for me...well then so be it.
It sucks for us europeans, sure, but.....it'll be worth it.
