Every time I go to a different web page, there's a little bar that says "Internet Explorer has found an unregistered version of Anti-Virus 1. Please register your Anti-Virus 1." Then sometimes when I go to another web page it says the page is harmful to my computer. This hasn't been happening since today, and I don't even know what Anti-Virus 1 is.

I'm inclined to say SPYWARE
run some scans, if you don't have any anti-malware software, download Spybot Search & Destroy

Behind you.
I'm kind of inclined to say "Don't run Internet Explorer."

But, I'm glad you've fixed your problem without my above advice.

Don't let it download anything. This is a prime example of what happens when I site sends you malware.

Basically malware is a virus with one cure (most of the time) in which you have to buy a said product from the supplier of the malware to destroy it. Wiping the hard drive, nor system restore will help it.

Yeah, it told me to buy the service, but when I went to the site, it said it could not be found.
