How perfect does the shine cancel have to be to link into jabs or dtilt? I've been working on it, but still can't get it. Practice makes perfect I assume.

It has to be basically perfect. I have been able to get some that cancel so fast that they don't even hit (or at least that's what it looks like, I could be wrong). So it has to be slightly slower than that, but still pretty much perfect.

You usually have a little bit more wiggle room in the timing of the jab/dtilt/whatever but how much depends on the move, the character, and where the shine hits them.

If I'm not mistaken, you can only do shine dtilt when you shine them to a lower ground (ex. Middle part of Hyrule to lower-left green part).

Try shine jabbing Kirby, I find it easiest on him.

I think you can usually shine dtilt on flat ground if the opponent misses a tech.

Also I think if they are at the right height shine dtilt might work anyway on flat ground. I'd have to test it though.

You should link it in the new post and the first post :p

They're much, much better than your first ones (N-Air > D-Air without a jump is interesting, I'll be trying that in matches)
