Smash Apprentice
Despite looking through several threads that seemed like they might have a bit of info on the subject, I actually don't know exactly how IASA frames work in melee. I'm not sure if there's some sort of general IASA flag that gets triggered during the interruptable frames of any move, or if IASA frames are hard coded into each move somehow. I'm guessing (and hoping) that it's the former, or something similar.
As far as I know, there isn't any existing way out there to turn on color overlays for IASA frames (if there is, please direct me to it and lock this!), and I think it would be an extremely useful training tool to be able to do this, as right now there's no way to tell if you're wasting a bunch of frames by acting slowly out of moves like marth's dtilt. Again, I don't know exactly how IASA frames are coded in the game, so there's a possibility that this would be extremely simple to code (with the more difficult part being integrating it into the 20XX debug menu and such), it also might be pretty unfeasible as well, if IASA is programmed on a move-by-move basis.
Would someone who is a bit more knowledgeable on the subject be able to let me know if this is possible, and perhaps even write a code for it? I would be eternally grateful to anyone who helps me speed up my gameplay like that.
