COK and other columbus smashers: Tourney schedule!!!!!

k guys, last summer of melee so lets make it worth it. Obviously all of us can't make every tourney but we should plan out the ones we really want to go to.

So call off work at these dates. COK will be offering rides if there is room. Post on what tournies you plan on attending.
Also, post if you know of tournies you want to go to and i'll add them to the list

April 7th - Canal Fulton Tourney..................2 hour

April 21th - SSBM Justin Wong tourney thing..........5 min

April 28th - Gamejunkie..................................1 hour 40 min

May 5th-6th - MLG Grassroutes tour: Long Island................ 9 hours 40 min (consider flying) tickets $250-$300

June 16th-17th - Pound 2................................. 6 hours 15 min

June 22nd-24th - Evo North..............................6 hours 10 min

June 30th - TransCanada Tournament..............6 hours 45 min

July 12th-14th - Melee-FC #???.....................4 hours 30 min

July 20- 22 - OC3.............................................Flying, tickets $360 (Most likely fly in thurs to Anuj's and from there go to the tourney)

This is a lot of tourneys in a very small amount of time. Ima drive to CF, justin wong thing, gamejunkie, and cok !!!. I'd rather get a ride to FC, unless there is sufficient driving funds/people, and OC would just be ***** retardedly cool, but i prolly cant afford tickets to cali.

For the first couple of months I would assume so. There will always be that crazy kid in the boondocks that hosts a smash 64 tourny so he'll probably upgrade to melee when brawl comes out.

Really its just like any fighting game, do you see anyone playing Street Fightter often?

Well, there is always the chance that Brawl is bad and the smash community shuns it. Shun the non-believer...SHUUUUUUN. Of course, even if it isn't "as good as" melee, it will probably still pick up just because it is new.

Of course I'm not too worryed about whether or not brawl will be good. Imma optimist.
