I don't know mu's with MK because I don't use him. I know the MK matchup with Fox that's why I 2 stocked it :D
Fox can laser and force the approach while with Mk I approached and you Up-B. Main difference, plus your glide attack set up perfectly an easy usmash kill.

Mk is also equal with Pikachu too now according to match up forums. I personally don't like the MK dittos so maybe try and pick up Pikachu. I use Pikachu and it helps.

ya see what we're talkin' about satan? it's about the presence of MK in tournament. He makes you have to make decisions. That's not to say it's not the same for every character, that'd be absurd. It's the special kind of decisions one has to make regarding him that becomes - wait for it -

overcentralized.

I agree that pikachu seems to do well (I called that ya know, years ago when the issue was in some dump thread about Sonic getting trashed and people wanting to ban MK because it was so unfair ... they told me to shut up they did, but nooooo.) Pikachu.

Any character in a tourney makes you make decisions. If I have to face an IC I'll pick the campiest or cheapest character I can to avoid a gay CG. If I face Olimar I'll have to counter with maybe Mk. If I face a Pikachu I will avoid using Fox. Mk is no different.
