Because the 1.0.6 changes thread rolled off the front page here, I feel the need to repost the list here. Also helps newer zard players find the info they need.

I have a list of all the characters death percents on FD with Up Throw. Not sure if this needs it own thread or not, but I thought since this was changed in 1.0.8, it would fit here.

All characters were tested in training mode against a Level 9 CPU. These percents are the lowest percents that consistently killed the AI. Each of these can have a 1-2% difference depending on DI.

All the characters were standing on the white dot in the middle of the stage. Charizard was facing the left side of the screen.

Just randomly popping in to say

Each of these can have a 1-2% difference depending on DI.
Is very wrong, you can DI Charizards uthrow :GCDR: if he is facing right and :GCDL: if hes facing left to survive around 20% longer from centre stage

So as a rough estimate, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Not going to bother with Ferox, Halbred, or Delfino as these are rough estimates and I feel like those would need actual testing.

On Town and City: -5%

Town and City Low Plat: -10%

Town and City High Plat: -15%

Other Low Plats: -5%

Other High Plats: 10%

*Other Low Plats include Battlefield, Dreamland, Duck Hunt, and Smashville. High Plats on Battlefield, Dreamland, and Duck Hunt.

Charizard Uthrow is super overrated. Unless you are at 150% or you land it in middle of BF that **** never kills.

The positioning of getting a Uthrow right underneath the top upper bush on the left side of Duck Hunt is mighty specific, but the kill percentages are stupid early. Same with Town & City when the platform in the dead center rises upward. That or Rage effect assisting with a decent increase of knockback to make it kill earlier on normal stages.

Personally I treat it similarly to Zard's old dthrow where the better position is closer to the ledge. Only difference is now platforms help. If you get a grab at center stage you're better off going for back throw or f throw for the edgeguard

My problem here is that people hype the throw like it's the ****. Whenever I play it's always OH **** IT'S ZARD BETTER WATCH OUT FOR THAT UTHROW HOLY CRAP. Just realize being at the center of the stage isn't as good as it is against most characters and you are good to go. I heard people say bull**** like it's stronger than Ness bthrow. That's so wrong.

Still a very good throw and by far the best buff for Charizard since the release. Just so overhyped.

but for example. with no DI megaman dies at 78 and with DI he dies at 100 minimum again with optimal DI
