Characters you love in their series-- but don't want in Smash...

Mario Series:

• Koopalings: LOVE the Koopalings, but damn they'd be terrible Smash choices. Not to mention with 7 of them it's a little awkward.
• Rosalina: Wonderful backstory, decent NPC, still think she's an odd choice when you consider just how utterly unimportant she actually is to the Mario series as a whole.
• Daisy: My preferred Mario Princess in spinoffs, but dammit no in Smash.
• King Boo: Great character, translates terribly to Smash: Constantly floats, intangible, etc.
• Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is one of my favourite games of all time...but Paper Mario is still another Mario. No repeats please, I'm not even that happy over Toon Link's inclusion.

Zelda Series:

• Medli: By FAR my favourite Zelda character. She's like a more active Sheik, but (just like Sheik) she's unimportant to the series as a whole and thus shouldn't be considered.
• Midna: Best part about Twilight Princess. Not sure if she should be a Smasher for just that one game.
• Tetra: Mostly because she'd come with Toon Zelda, and again; not a fan of repeats.

Pokemon Series:

• Alakazam: My favourite Pokemon of all time(well, technically Abra, but the whole line). Wouldn't work as a Smasher; not important enough, basically a lesser Mewtwo.
• Any Pokemon not called Meowth, Blaziken, Mewtwo, Pikachu, Lucario or Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon. Just not really important, and even Blaziken's a little rough around the edges.

DK Series:

• Cranky Kong: Love the character, but not for Smash please. At least not yet. I'm teetering on the edge of conversion for Cranky.

Yoshi Series:

• Kamek: Great villain, love his magic...think he'd translate poorly to Smash with his broomstick. Top tier AT material though.

Wario Series:

• Captain Syrup: Again, my favourite Wario character after the big man himself and a great villain, but a little too obscure for me to consider her All Star enough to get in.

Fire Emblem Series:

• Chrom: Comes off well in Awakening, but dammit he really does just seem like a middle ground between Marth and Ike, and uses the exact same blade as Marth. Just seems like a dull choice for Smash, although highly likely.
• Yarne: Represents FE well(fear of dying), transforms into a killer rabbit, but again not important enough to be considered.
