Have a roster!

I made this roster with a mindset of reasonable optimism. Rate it on how satisfied you would be and tell me what changes you would make.

Explanations:
King K. Rool is kooler than Dixie kould ever be.
Even if Ganon isn't necessarily likely, I think most people would enjoy playing as him. I know I would.
Takamaru will always be my retro of choice. What's not to love about him?
Ridley is awesome.
Palutena is awesome.
Either Anna or Robin would be cool for Fire Emblem...I chose Anna because I wanted to show off the Anna icon I made I had a better icon of Anna. Robin could easily take her spot.
Miis are attached to Villager for minimum rage!
Pac-Man will never be removed from my rosters.
I didn't put Snake on here for the same reason I didn't put Toad on here. I think it's unlikely that Snake is in this time. I could easily be wrong, though. Feel free to make this a negative point for satisfaction.

Unless this is a want roster,put Shulk and C.M. over Ridley and Ganon.

Could you perhaps elaborate on the reason you wish for Krystal to be included? I am actually quite fond of her character myself.

Well I see her inclusion as much more then, "WOW AHE HAS A STAFF SO UNIQUE 9/10 IT'S OK- IGN."

Basically, I don't find the whole, "rep limit," credible at all. Mr Sakurai can add in whoever he pleases, as long as the character brings something interesting to the table. While the staff is a nice little feature to her character, there's more to it. Starting with her franchise, while many say she isn't important, that's completely false. If her only game was Adventures, they I would completely understand. However, she was given much more credibility in the 2 later games she appeared in, meaning she actually had an important role in those games, which is something that could merit her inclusion.

Now if Mr. Sakurai wanted to add another SF rep in Krystal without making her a clone, then he could simply do it. No one said she HAS to be a clone. Not to mention that they could make use of the staff, her telepathy, the weapons from assault, and even the Krazoa Spirits if they were to touch up on her adventures roots.

This is as brief as I could keep it, but I hope that gets the point across

Robin is more likely. I can't argue that. I actually started making this roster seeing if I could get away with both Robin and Anna, but I decided that was a little too unlikely.

Pretty nice roster. Ganon and Anna are unlikely, I think, but I can see their appeal.

This roster is made with reasonable optimism. That means it's not necessarily the likeliest roster, but it's what I would enjoy and what I think others would enjoy.

I've mentioned this before, but I'd like to see them make a non-can bipedal Ganon based off of Twilight Princess' Beast Ganon design. Of course, they'd have to maybe change Ganondorf's Final Smash for them to coexist, but still that'd be cool wouldn't it?

Great roster! As mentioned before, I don't think Ganon is likely. If he is in, however, he'll replace Ganondorf completely. After that, replace Anna by Robin and you have a very likely roster(even though Takamaru is king of a stretch)

Oh, and I don't think I'm the only one but... I have this strange gut feeling that ROB is getting cut. I have absolutely nothing to back this but I just feel it.

Please, Based Sakurai, let K.Rool be in.

Though sadly a Wayforward rep isn't really plausible. But I'd go with Patty Wagon or Shantae. Honestly Patty because the Mighty Series has been Nintendo Exclusive for it's entire run.

How does being able to sense distress signals and thought patterns (the extent of her power) translate into Smash?

Or am I to assume that the argument given is that Krystal should suddenly be a full-blown telekinetic like Mewtwo?

I can see the paintbrush being more involved in his Final Smash than anything, a paintbrush-less Bowser Jr. is indeed possible possibly more plausible. Like, what would he do? Swing with electro goop? Summon Goopy Piranha Plants? Chuck a Swoopin' Stu? His "moveset potential" probably shouldn't be limited to his paintbrush, he has more things up his arsenal too. Cannons, Clow Car, Bombs, Shells, Fireballs, Bullet Bills, anyone? I mean they could implement a paintbrush attack or two, like electro goop or painting the floor to make it slippery.

It's simply a case of mixing up telekinesis with telepathy.

She isn't full blown set up with Mewtwo's abilities, but she must have strong telepathic abilities if she can sense one distress cry over the span of planets.
As for her use of it in Smash, it would be under the concept of reading thought patterns. With this, she would practically read her opponents mind and thoughts, find out the move they are intending on using, and counter attack. Basically, it would be similar to the FE crew, and Little Mac.

I support Bowser Jr. as a character, but an assist trophy would suffice. I think he'd function very well as either.

In brawl, of course. In Smash 4 though, it's yet to be announced.

I can think of a E3 possibility. What if they want to announce the Paper Mario game for the Wii U, and then comes the announcement for something in that universe in Smash. That'd be so great. (Please make it a legit RPG this time around, Nintendo..)

I still fully support him and he's my most wanted newcomer, even though after Rosalina's reveal everyone kinda forgot about him and stopped thinking he would make it in. I still think he has a chance despite Mario already getting a newcomer. His potential to be unique and different from everyone else in the roster is high, in my opinion, mainly due to his brush. And people say "6 Mario characters is too much" and other stuff. I don't really think a series technically "deserves" a certain amount of characters or is required to be above or below a certain amount. This time around, Sakurai appears to be acknowledging uniqueness and playstyles more than just who is the most relevant in whatever franchise or whatever franchise needs more characters or not, and as long as the newcomers bring something new to to the table and have playstyles that set them apart from everyone else, then they can make it in despite whoever is already in the roster. I think if he cared about what series gets certain amount of representatives or goes on the most relevant series should have the most reps, then Star Fox should probably not have more reps than Donkey Kong or Metroid. I mean, I'm biased towards Bowser Jr., so I definitely think he would make a great addition to the roster. But I honestly think that the moveset he could bring to the roster would be different from any other character. And not just because "Oh man, he has a Magic Paintbrush, no other character has that," but it's what he can do with it that I think would make him unique and different than everyone else and fun to play as.
