It's weird that you picked Layton (and Waluigi) over Dixie Kong (or even Lip)... but ok.

Added (in this order)
1. Rosalina (duh)
2. Palutena (duh)
3. Ghirahim (duh)
4. Takamaru (what a shame)
5. Ridley (for fans)
6. King K Rool (for fans)
7. Shulk (for fans)
8. Isaac (high priority, unlike how he is to Sakurai :/)
9. Robin
10. Mewtwo
11. Greninja
12. Mega Man
13. Pac-Man
14. Little Mac (shaky, because he's boring, but he deserves it, so he has to be here)
15. Villager

Removed (in this order)
1. Waluigi (awful)
2. Mii Fighters (awful x3)
3. Roy
4. Dark Pit
5. Black Shadow (not bad, just very low priority on my list)
6. Professor Layton (I like him, but I just added 2 3rd parties...)
7. Chrom (I give him **** but I didn't count him out until I had 6 characters removed)
8. Chorus Men (RH deserves a character but meh)
9. Bowser Jr (Rosalina is better >:])
10. Paper Mario (Rosalina is better >:])
11. Mach Rider (Takamaru is better, but I like him and all of the characters next that had to be removed)
12. Krystal (I like her, but... low priority due to Starfox representation already being so high)
13. Impa (I tried to keep her, but there weren't enough spots and I mostly just want her as a Sheik clone or to represent HW, blah blah blah Ghirahim is better)
14. Lucina (this hurt. But she's a clone and if it was down to just 15, I think I'd have left her as a Marth alt... *sigh*)
15. Wii Fit Trainer (a great newcomer imo, but she isn't very popular even after her reveal, so it wasn't all that worth it, not as much as the other newcomers, except Miis, so she just didn't make the cut)

Kept: 1) King K. Rool, 2) Palutena, 3) Little Mac 4) Greninja 5) Rosalina 6) WFT 7) Villager 8) Megaman 9) Pac-Man 10) Robin 11) Lucina 12) Bowser Jr. 13) Shulk 14) Chorus Men Marshal 15) Mii Fighters. I put them into a survey (two parts due to limited surveymonkey).

That Star Fox comic made me feel some type of way...

Amyways, let's talk about a set of characters I've been curious about.

Kat and Ana.

Do I think they're likely? No. Do I want them in the game? Yes, and I find it odd that we haven't had any site of them in this game yet, (unless they're an AT and I don't know.)

Thoughts?

I think I cheated a little bit, I just chose them more out of who I wanted the most
  1. Ridley - Smash needs more villains, and this increases the villain density. Plus I really like Ridley
  2. King K. Rool - See above, same reasoning. Plus incredible moveset potential
  3. Mewtwo - Reintroducing the popular veteran and adding more villains (though Mewtwo is arguable)
  4. Little Mac - Popular request and unique moveset
  5. Greninja - XY representative and popular
  6. Rosalina - Unique moveset, popular and more female characters
  7. Wii Fit Trainer - Interesting idea, WTF character, more female characters
  8. Mega Man - Great moveset potential and is the 1st 3rd party. VERY well liked. Including from me
  9. Robin - I like them, more FE representation and more female characters
  10. Ghirahim - Chosen because Groose is absent from the list and there should be a Zelda newcomer.
  11. Shulk - Yay for Shulk! Great moveset potential and from a popular game
  12. Waluigi - More Mario characters, more popular over time, representing Mario sports spinoffs, Waluigi Time.
  13. Black Shadow - I want more F-Zero characters dammit
  14. Mach Rider - Retro revival character and could have an interesting bike focused moveset
  15. PROFESSOR LAYTON WHY IS THIS IN CAPS? *ahem* Chose this as a second 3rd party because yay for Layton!
And that does it for my list. Oh also, before I forget, this is what this roster would look like:

(Note: Squirtle and Ivysaur cut because Charizard, Snake cut because I needed room but hopefully that doesn't happen. Otherwise all Brawl vets are present)

Wait. . . 2012? Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't some of these characters too "new" as in, they have not debuted yet? If so, I need to change my list!

Hey everyone, I found this on the Smash Sub-Reddit.



You get 12 points, each character row corresponds to the point on the left. So Wonder Red = 4 Points, and Duck Hunt Dog = 2 Points, etc.

So if you only had 12 points, who would you choose? This is mine.

Ridley: Because Ridley.

Bandana Dee: Awesome character, if FE can have 4 reps, so does Kirby.

Sceptile: Because the Fire-Water-Grass starter trio.

I figured I would post my sister's score because she is more interesting (everyone and their cat understood that I would pick Dark Pit and Black Shadow):

Shulk (3)
Sceptile (3)
Dillon (2)
Bowser Jr. (2)
Roy (2)

Obviously she opted out of the more prominent high-tier characters for more characters overall. Quantity over quality.

Don't care about most of these characters, but I guess I'd go with :

Dillon (2)
Chibi-Robo (2)
Snake (4)
Krystal (4)

Can't do much with 12 points.
