then you can keep playing brawl and we'll keep playing melee, my life is perfectly fine like that

on the other hand my life will instantly be over the second i touch brawl
Come on, P. You haven't even played Brawl and your so sure it's horrible whereas countless players who have played it (and loved Melee) say that it's a great game.

I think your really missing out...

Yeah, mapquest doesn't yet have this address in its database. But as I live there, I can vouch that it does in fact exist. Mapquest does suggest similar addresses, and those directions work too.

As you go down Arroyo drive, you will see a driveway with a sign on the left that says Vista Del Campo Norte. Turn in there. The venue will be the first building on your right as you enter the driveway. Note that the room is on the SECOND floor of the building.

The place does have rules against gambling, but I don't think a tournament can be considered gambling so I think we're alright there. However, I would appreciate it if you guys kept the money thing on the down low. So if it's alright with Claire, I would suggest maybe you guys pay when you arrive and we'll just right your name down on a registration paper so we can avoid a big line of people paying money? Like I said, I'm sure we'll be fine regardless, it's just a suggestion though.

There's a brawl tournament but this event is mostly a way to give everyone a chance to play brawl who hasn't already. We're expecting 7 or so set ups already.

Don't know, I might be wrong, but I THINK I know myself better than that. Dude, I have very good reasons why, but no one gives a **** about my reasons why (nor should they, I sure don't give a **** about their reasons), so I don't like the whole pseudo "omg you really should give it a try," because when I explain why I absolutely won't, I'm the only one who cares, so I keep it to myself.

Obviously I'm not the ONLY one who cares, but those who care already know through AIM, I don't post it on smash boards =/

So if we were using mapquest or something similar for directions, what would we put as an end address? Just Arroyo Dr. and no street number?

if you put in 28700, mapquest says could not find THAT address, but we did find THESE other addresses. Click to use the ones mapquest did find, and then use those directions to get to arroyo drive.

How are you guys doing on TVs? I have a small one I can bring that's the size of one of those old school computer monitors. Assuming if it still works, you could use it for the melee games (Brawl deserves one of the better Tvs imo :D )

Shoot, might as well bring my cube and game too.

Sorry guys, but NO FOOD IS ALLOWED INSIDE. If you bring food you'll have to eat it outside. Bottled drinks are ok though.

Since I am a resident I have to enforce their rules. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

One last thing, if you're driving you'll want to park in visitor stalls. They're all numbered. You park in non-visitor stalls at your own risk. Parking tickets cost $50.
