My guess is to just make the current font totally transparent, then put your new font over that in a seperate layer in Photoshop. That'd be my guess.

Is there a way to make the colors turn blue instead of red when your damage gets high or something?

We need to find it's palette file, I'm pretty sure thats where you can change it.
Oh for Joe,darksamus and everyone, PLEASE contact Starwaffle for help ~.~ he doesn't reply to my messages QQ

EDIT: I think the texture needs to be in a different format and not IA4 (can't exactly remember lol) which I have no idea on what those files do.
On another note, changing the formats seem to increase the filesize, which is a big no-no

Even if changing the format didn't make it bigger, chances are that it will make the game freeze (no clue why, most of the time the game doesn't like that). So yeah, changing it's format isn't going to help much.

Anyways, I'll look at the file and see what needs to be done to change it. I'll be back shortly...

In info.pac just go under MiscData[30] and go into the textures and edit the InfDamageNm textures. They have transparency and everything. Are you sure you were editing the right file? It's in the info2 folder, not in info.

I got everything right, cept for the black boxes around it.
Acutally, I'm getting suspicious of my process in making it in PS.
First I open one of the files for editing, then I try making a new layer then make a text number.
Afterthat, I tested it out by adding a new layer between the original and mine, it contains only a black fill that is means of helping me look at it.
Finally, I just "hide" the black box and the original file so that my custom font is visible.
It is saved as .PNG format

I exported the number in from BrawlBox, open it, erase the number, put in my own number, save as .png and put it back in BrawlBox. There is default transparency in the file when you export it, and I felt there was no need to create a new layer. I did, however, have to rotate the image because it was sideways, then rotate it back to it's correct position.

For me, I just used Paint.NET and didn't add another layer, just got rid of everything and pasted on what I wanted with just a single layer of content and transparency. It worked for me, at least.

What do the numbers in MiscData[100] do? They seem to be named the same things...

Bump, still haven't got it working, what I noticed though is that the raw files don't have black outlines on them. I assume that it is automatically generated around it (yes, idk what i'm talking about lol) , something must have went wrong with its rendering around my font. Eh I dunno
