Hello all yoshi players,

I have been trying to get down chaining djc nair with yoshi for awhile now and it does not seem like I am getting any better. I never seem to be quick enough to get that second nair in before they hit the ground and are able to tech away. I know you need to keep momentum, but I have been trying for awhile with no positive results...any timing djc tips from yoshi players out there?

(of course I am talking about nair chains on floaties)

I know you've probably heard it before, but... practice. Go to training mode and try to get consecutive hits with nair chains. Start with easier characters (I find Puff to be the easiest), and work yourself up (Samus?). Practice doing fast djc nairs in between stocks.

Learn how to float forward as you nair. Hard to explain but it's the same principle as ness's super reverse djc where he floats backwards while doing an aerial.

jump/dash forward, djc, snap analog stick to neutral, as soon as started nair push analog forwad again.
repeat?

I find that you that need to get as much horizontal movement as you can before you nair too.

Basically the only time the stick should be neutral is the split second you input the nair. That's how I do it anyway, and I have atleast 3 nair chained every floaty in real matches. You can 4 nair chain most floaties too. Jiggly, samus, and luigi are pretty easy to 4 nair chain but the other floaties are a good bit harder.

You can do backwards nair chains too. I do 3 backwards nairs quite a bit not sure if I've ever gotten 4 though.

I don't have recording capabilities. But if you really don't believe it's possible I could show you on p2p or something.

I did it on the livestream a couple times vs malva the other night. I do it all the time in matches.

without turning around?
The turning around part isn't that hard actually. If you turn around using your second jump, then attack during the next three frames, you end up not turning around at all, but still keeping most of your momentum. So you just have to worry about doing a nair instead of a bair, because it comes out faster.
Also works with Kirby and Jigglypuff (though I don't know the exact frames in their cases).
