If this gets more interest and if someone would be willing to give me a ride from San Jose (I'll help pay for gas!), I'd be very interested in coming. I won't be able to bring a setup though =/.

Just a thought, Doubles is typically held before Singles for players to get to the venue and warm up more. It's your tournament though, so the schedule is up to you.

Oh snap. Is it bad that I have someone visiting that weekend that I'd be totally willing to ditch in SF for this tournament? :p

Anyways, seconding what Metroid said about getting more interest as well as more details on how things will be run (stagelist etc). I'll be keeping an eye on this, even though my chances of making it are very slim. Also, Metroid, if I end up going I can get you a ride no problem.

Awesome, I'm looking forward to meeting you guys! I'm going to bring a recording device too, but I won't be bringing a TV.

Lastly, Ishieymoro said that he'll most likely not come to this. Would anyone else from or passing by San Jose be willing to give me a ride? I live close to San Jose State University and am willing to help pay for gas!

Could you post the suggested ruleset in the OP so people on Smashboards can comment on it? Also, could you tell the admin of the Facebook group to add the Smashboards link to the event description? I feel like a lot more people will check Smashboards instead of Facebook for the tournament. You should also try advertising the tournament in the Project M thread and the Project M forums.

Also, I will be bringing a recording device, but I can't bring a full setup. My e-mail is metroid1117@gmail.com, feel free to send me a message.

My friends and I are strongly considering traveling from southern Cali, to come to this. That's how badly we want to go to a PM tournament. If this gets more attention, and there are more Set ups expected, then we might actually attend. And we would definitely bring the competition ;)

We own 2 Project M Set ups and actual Wii's is what we will need from the community next time. I'm significantly more activate on Facebook so if for any reason any of you want to reach me, That is the place.
