I met my son, Luke Skywalker.

Seriously, my granddaddy had his picture taken with Roy Jones Jr. once

So a few days ago I was working at my job as a cashier at ****'s Sporting Goods. For living in the Metro Detroit area, you wouldn't really expect any "celebrities" to be present.

It turns out that Chauncey Billups of the Detroit Pistons decides to enter the store on that particular day. If anyone wonders, he purchased jumpropes and candy for his daughters, who were accompanying him. He unfortunately did not come into my line, which was rather busy, but I made a point to tell him "have a nice day" as he left the store.

Sad thing is, I would have to say that is my first "celebrity experience." Maybe it's just I don't get out much, or maybe Michigan is just that desolate of a place.

Anyway, which celebrities have you all seen, met, said hi to, etc? Any interesting stories out there?

EDIT: LOL at the censor function.
My mother 6 months pregnant with a unborn me! () had much better luck in Michigan. Up until the time right before I was born my parents had lived in Michigan for 5 years (although both of them had previously lived in California all their lives), and they went on a plane back to California because of business of my father's. On the plane ride to California, my mother sat next to Isiah Thomas. Yep. Isiah f***ing Thomas. This was when he was on the Pistons, and the whole team was in the plane. My mother knew who it was, but she didn't say anything. So he started a conversation. I forget what she said they talked about, lulz. I bet he blessed the unborn Johnknight1 with awesomeness, because in order to have THIS MUCH AWESOMENESS you have to be blessed by someone awesome. And an NBA Hall of Famer does it (although he's one crappy coach! XD). Maybe that "Team of the 90's" Chicago Bulls Poster hanging in my room also contributes to my awesomeness! XD

Also, when I was 4 and moving again I met the cast of 90210 when they were filming at the hotel we were staying at. I knew what the whole show was (along with the rest of my family, minus my two baby younger sibblings).

I also ran into Governor Schwartenzenhaggarorhoweverthecrapit'sspelled on a field trip to the capitol in 4th grade with the group I was in, and again 4 years later at a restraunt. It was pretty awesome. Ironically the year after I ran into him the 2nd time my sister met him at a trip to the capitol. The same one where I first ran into him (out of two times running into him! :chuckle:). Pretty hilarious... His accent isn't as noticeable when he's talking face to face versus through the tube. And it sounds a lot cooler. I wish I was Austrian. O wait...I AM!

O, and Jason Giambi also gave me a baseball when I was 12 at an A's game. I was a happy little boy all that month. :)

O, and former President/former Union General Ulysses L. Grant owned a farm less then a mile from where I live. His farm is like preserved. Really old and stuff, and it's said it's one of the many farms/ranches/whatevers where he wrote a lot of his stuff after he was "through" with politics, war, and governmental jobs and whatnot. Seeing as how he was a adrenaline junky (he got several tickets in D.C. before, during, and after his presidency for speeding on his wagons and horses via racing and speeding) and my house wasn't even where it was at the end of the 20th century, he probably raced through my house, lol!

Also, my best friend's older sister and her best friend baby sit John Madden's grandsons. I also met John Madden once in town (he lives in the same town as I do, only on the opposite side). He's pretty awesome, and is what you see on T.V. EXACTLY!

Ironically my dad also has met dozens of 49ers (including Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Jerry Rice), and golfs (boring!) with a few of them a couple times a year. Back when they were actually good he'd go to all the games and stuff, and he was pretty hardcore into them. XD

My mother has also met a ton of former Dodger and Angels players, as well as Kirt Russel and a few others...at the same friggen time. My mother also met George Foreman. I know she's met tons of celebrities (she lived like 20 minutes away from LA or in LA for the first 30 years of her life), but I forget a lot of hers because she's told me she's met a ton of people, and she's told me soooooo many stories that I can't remember most of them! XD

And one of my friend's mom met Morgan f***ing Freeman when golfing (I need to learn to golf already to meet famous people! XD). She kept on saying "you look familiar. I think I know you.", and he'd give witty and hilarious responses until someone told her who it was. She could hardly contain herself. I bet I would feel the same way! XD

i meet Mirah Carey at south beach. i said hi love your album tried to make small talk **didnt work** ten i said had to go and i got a kiss on the cheek. but it was hard looking at her face while she was in a bikini lol.
Lulz, that is full of win (meeting "the Queen" of music). $50 says you wanted more then a kiss... >_>

My sister had to interview Avril LaVigne for the magazine she works for, subsequently shaming our family.

I've met oliver north when I was like 12 or something... I still don't know what he does but he signed a book and gave it to me at some fundraiser.

I got to go onstage during a darren hayes concert last year and chill on a couch with 2 other fans inches from him and he'd chat with us and at the end shook our hands and everything... and he gave us champagne XD
(Darren Hayes was the lead singer of savage garden)

I'd love to meet Eva, because Tony wouldn't be far away and i'm a big spurs fan.
