i dunno if i can give extensive feedback but he felt a lot like melee falcon, thats for sure. EVERYTHING combos into knee at any DI. dthrow and uthrow to knee works on various characters at various percents. i even nearly comboed a half-charged dsmash into knee. dash attack, with amazing speed and priority, is probably his best knee setup, simply because you can spam aerials like crazy and then mix it up with a dash attack, still kneeing.

basically anytime i didnt combo someone into knee to death, i felt i did something wrong. his only weaknesses i could see was his somewhat gimpable recovery (still way better than melee tho), and he gets juggled a lot like melee too (hes no snake, but dont mess up or you are enduring a 7 second combo)

dthrow to knee on squirtle on warioware = super easy KOs

oh yea, and nair is AMAZING. i had to play a samus and TL the first 2 rounds of tourney, and it took me halfway through match 1 set 1 to realize that nair beats EVERYTHING. i was literally nairing through samus missles into jab grab or dash attack or ANOTHER nair or anything.

Cause a strong camper can still dominate him. The OoS options in Brawl+ are still too good. Falcon can get camped pretty hard. Sure when he breaks through or reads a mistake he punishes very, very well but he's still easy to camp.

Nair to knee seems to be nearly 100% consistent, I almost always combo it any time I land the 2nd nair hit (which has plenty of range, so it's easy).

Falcon's comboing is right where it needs to be, though. If you make good choices with his array of combo moves, you can 0-death, but it requires you to be fast on your feet. He still doesn't have more spacing options than other characters and can be comboed or camped quite easily.

He's not too good at all, I think he's pretty darn good.

People say that Falcon is actually overbuffed. Ha.

I think if he is overbuffed, a reduction of damage out would be best fit for him.

I agree. He's still not great, but he did receive more buffs than he needed.

Generally, he'll be able to do the same things if we tone down the damage. He'll get the job done.

His approaching and defense games are what's lacking, and no matter how great his combos are, it won't fix those problems, as we've seen. So yeah, nerfing his offense while still allowing him to combo will leave him at a good spot.

His approaches really aren't bad at all. Side-B and nair are both safe on block. Side-B can be dealt with in other ways (spotdodge, outprioritize with jab/tilt) but nair has mad priority and can't really be punished.
