Supposedly this game is dead in the U.S. but all my friends play it.

CvS2 is a joke of a game. I mean, losing 75 percent plus life cause you block something as simple as a hurricane kick by Sakura is just ********.

Anyways, whenever I do play this game, I stick with either K-Scrub (Sagat/Cammy/R2Blanka) or Team CvS2 (A-Sakura/Bison/R2Blanka)

I always played as Kim, because I'm a lazy camping *******. But yes, if I was feeling particularly soulless, I could do the same with Bison and be twice as effective.

I enjoyed the game! But I quickly became better than my friends and they never wanted to play with me again. Same thing happened with Marvel vs. Capcom 2... CAPTAIN FIRE!

I agree, this game has some stupid stuff in it. I really have no desire to play it at a high level; then again, all games have stupid stuff in them.

Look up matches from Kindevu and Bas, you'll see the crazy sh** A-Blanka is capable of.
But you hafta know how to RC, otherwise he jumps back down to 6th

Not really but I could do all the moves pretty well (without turbo controller macro crap) but I was decent online.

Any game can get boring, I can still find Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo fun after 14 years!

Anyways, Sagat is a really good character. But he is'nt the best. Can't take huge advantage of roll canceling, has a weak and somewhat non practical A-Groove combo (therefore making him only really effictive in K and C, unlike Blanka, who's scary in any of the 3 grooves) and is just a pretty basic character (but again, rather good because of priority and damage potential). I think that he is top definetly, but behind a few characters, like Sakura, Bison, and Blanka.

Speaking of Blanka, roll cancel electricty, roll cancel rolling ball, fast, high priority, huge damage in any groove, good turtler, good rushdown, practical and damaging A-Groove combo. D*** Blanka!

Aeramis, if your playing the XBL one, don't bother with it, since it's not arcade perfect, the top characters have a 5% damage reduction, RCing was removed, so yep, really no longer arcade perfect. The DC or the PS2 ver. are excellent ports, either is fine.

Blanka is ghey, seriously, I hate the green guy so much in CvsS2, if your playing a Non-RCing Blanka he's not too bad (still bad), however if you play a RCing Blanka...he's really difficult, it doesn't even matter what groove you put him in, he's good, however obviously certain grooves he's far stronger.

C.fp has stupid range, Super Electric is just ridiculous, one hit does the same damage no matter what. Still, you just deal with it, I love N-Groove Ryu, ALOT, his pressuring game is just simply great, Hibiki is getting alot of love from now, she's officially tied with Ryu as my favorite character in CvsS2 now. Her c.lp, c.lk, c.mp qcf+LP is great. She works so well with N-Groove because she can pressure so well, I love her style of play.

Really like this game at this moment, almost played as much as SF2:HF and HSF2:AE for me right now.

Sagat is a superbeast! His super moves can be deadly if you let him get momentum. TIGER GENOCIDE!

I like cvs2 still ,but nobody around me plays.

It's nice to finally see a tierlist, but i didnt think some of the characters were as high as they were.

Also didnt think A-Blanka was a god tier alone.

that's pretty crazy.

The tier list on the second post is'nt really accurate. It's old first of all, and P groove is just a joke unless you are *REALLY* good at parrying and taking advantage of it.

The P-Grooves parry mode is far more strict than the 3rdStrikes Parry System, so it really isn't all that good. Now if it was actually like 3rdStrikes parry system, then I could see it having more potential. That tier list is infact old, Imo, the top 2 in the top tier listing should be Blanka and A-Groove Bison, Blanka because he works well and does great in anything you put him in, A-Groove Bison because one mess up with a full metered Bison can pretty much mean the end of your character who's on point.

I'm actually waiting on for srk to update their tier listing in their forum for CvsS2.

Not to mention that P Groove fills up slowly, you can't super cancel moves like in 3S, lowest level 3 damage in the game, other reasons why I think P just sucks. Even in EO, it's still not that great.

I've been askin Buktooth to update the list, but he just won't do it. He thinks its accurate enough.
If I were to make a list, it would be pretty accurate but I don't want so many ppl hatin on me becuz of my list.

I personally think King should be higher (alot higher) and that Cammy is better than Sagat, IMO.

But my teams are:
C-Cammy/Iori/Sagat (R2)
N-Yun/Ryu/Ben (R2)
1 team is full of high tiers, the other is lower tiers

Wow, that Hibiki comeback was orgasmic. Also, was that a flashier than normal Sho sho sho? It had a cool ending that I don't see anyone do.

The only good SNK characters are Iori, Kyo, Rock and Geese IMO. Capcom screwed them over in this game. I say Capcom because it plays more like a street fighter game then a king of fighters game IMO. So I'm assuming that capcom had more of a hand in the game play.

Also I love Sagat. He has Tiger knee so RCing isn't a must with him. His priority and damage is insane. Gotta love his standing roundhouse and his crouching fierce. And I think he is better then Guile at zoning/pressuring because he has more options in terms of projectiles and his anti-airs. I love Tiger raid mindgames with him too. Empty jump in to level 2 Tiger raid to Tiger uppercut. C-Groove only which is pretty much his best groove anyway. Sagat is gay because he makes you realize that he doesn't need glitchy stuff to be hax. He has been hax since his debut.

Hibiki is a solid character as well. A few bad match-up's and situations aside, if you can get around that, have some paitence, she goes a long way.

As for Sagat, empty jump-in's are far better for him in any groove that has low jump. I can't really say what his best groove would be, but he's just too good in C, N, K. Especially with K. Sagat getting a level 3 roughly every 20 seconds is scary.

Peaches: What are you referring to that is a more classy finish for Sakura's sho sho combo? I have'nt watched the vid (and I don't plan to, heh) but I can only assume that she finished off the CC with a hurricane kick into her BnB combo?
