Can't Beat Diddy Kong: A Parody Song By Porotypes

There have been many fantastic musical productions done with Smash in mind, from Melee music on Tesla Coils to acapella covers, and the music group Porotypes have joined in on the action. These "three girls who make parodies about video games" according to their Twitter, go by Yelenaivy, MimiLegend, and Lunity and they have created an amazing video about that character everyone is talking about in Smash 4: Diddy Kong.


It's always fun to see people take their musical talents and create something unique for Smash! To see more music by the Porotypes by sure to check out their Youtube channel or catch them when they stream live on Twitch.

The talent in the singing and the way the clips were organized were really good, but the last thing I wanted to see on the front page after just losing to two Diddy Kongs in a tournament today is "can't beat Diddy Kong" <__>

I don't like the the overreaction from the community over Diddy Kong.... nor the heavy abuse of my main for three straight Smash Bros. games in the making of this video.... nor Ke$ha.... nor even godamn pop....
So why? WHY did I love this video SO. MUCH? xD

Hoo-Haa too strong? Nerf Greninja and leave Marth alone. Nerf Sheik's speed to that of Ganon and nerf the entire cast. Introducing Goku DLC and you basically only get two monkeys going at it. Hoo-Haa for life.

I know people will hate me for saying this but a part of me wll miss OP Didy Kong, it kinda became a Smash4 meme and I love it for that.

Yeah, Diddy Kong requires no skill everybody. Put him in the "Ice Climbers" tier above Sheik.

But seriously, I think Diddy is more comparable to Fox from Melee than Metaknight from Brawl. Hopefully you looked at the video and saw the amazing diddy combos (y'know, the non hoo-haa ones). Banana right into peanut then side-b into fair, down-b then side-b into nair, banana right into ftilt then upsmash. He's generally one of the more fun characters to play.

Someone needs to remix that Mega Man song "I Can't Defeat Air Man" and make it "I Can't Defeat Diddy Kong."
