I took the first gen quiz again (these quizzes work quite well for procrastinating) and managed to get all 151 with 5:31 left! I would've gotten it with a minute more left if I had realized that I had Exeggcute and not Exeggutor... (I was trying to think of a non-evolving Pokémon between 100 and 110 besides the Hitmons and Lickitung...which was unsuccessful for a reason)

This time I decided to start out just by typing in Pokémon as they came to me from reciting what I could of the Pokérap in my head, then when I was done adding to those with ones from memory. It definitely worked. I got a little more than 100 of them just from the Pokérap.

...God, I'm such a supernerd.

I took that as a challenge and retried 2nd gen, and got 92.

I forgot some of the most obvious ones, too. Bellossom (seriously, how did I forget that one?), Aipom, Slowking, Girafarig, Gligar, Corsola, Stantler, Smeargle.

I know significantly less (i.e., about 10-15 seconds combined) of the GS Pokérap. I think I only know that much because it's so catchy, albeit obnoxious.

I'll retry 3rd and 4th gen now, too.

Third gen was particularly horrible because there were a handful that I could remember and see visually, but not recall the name for...which usually doesn't happen to me.

Also, it's slightly unrelated, but I found a quiz of the Pokémon Theme Song Lyrics. Warning, they do get the lyrics wrong at one point, so if you get tripped up typing in the correct lyrics, just fool around with it a little bit. I found it exceedingly easy, save for the fact that they put in the wrong lyrics.

I'm hoping at some point to be able to get all of these quizzes 100%. Sure, it'll be proof that I'm a supernerd, but then again, I like being a nerd.
