Can I unlock all the characters this way?

so I'm doing the 1 stagmia on cpu n flower thing in special brawl... they say u can unlock all the characters this way is that true?

That is the method I used when I lost my data once and had to unlock everything again. So far that is the best method that I know of. I haven't seen anything else faster.

Just the characters.

Make sure you're on faster speed mode as well. Every little bit helps.
