After the release of Brawl, you vanished; one of the coolest persons in the Melee community. Glad to see you're still around.

poot never disappeared, just check his posts, he has been active for a long *** time. I haven't been in dallas for some time, but every time I come back and check this thread (when I'm in Dtown) he is always posting and helping to keep DFW melee alive.

dont know who you are but I have to say you are mistaken!


also we should mosdef have smashfest tomorrow. otherwise I wont be able to make it out for a long *** time :(((

Some general stuff though since I'm not the only person who lives in the house:

We'll be staying downstairs probably. Might use the upstairs since table space is limited downstairs.

I'll have dranks for people prob, but I'm a cheapass and half the food in the pantry isnt even mine, so um if people get hungry we can pitch in and order pizza or something.

Thats basically it tho. As for a time, I really don't care what time people start showing up Thursday. I sadly have nothing better to do, so I'll probably be home all day.

though i know you meant good because uhh i agree. gp is in like a whole other state. smashfest at utd sounds good imo but only cause it's close to me soooo.

personally i wouldn't mind (that much) if i had my own car, but since i dont, i have to ride with a friend who is probably the angriest driver in the world.

ergo yes i might actually die.
haha in all seriousness though, wherever it is, it's whatever. a smashfest is a smashfest. i think bluezaft is just trying to hold it where it'd be convenient for most people. if you want to hold it, well then: hell yeah road trip !

Well, I said in my first post that I was located in south Grand Priarie, got good responses, then he was like "lol jk too far", while some other people would have to make a trip just as long to get to one located up there.

I'm not opposed to going up there or anything, but like you said, it was a bit harsh, and kinda rude from my perspective, but maybe thats just me.

so do yall ever have big melee tournaments? i have family in dallas and they've been buggin me to visit em, i figure if there's a big tournament and i know about it in advance i can visit em and smash in the meantime, and i can bring some houston people with me

my apologies if I sounded mean. I'd go, but I can't even get people to show up to a smashfest 5 minutes from them, so this would probably be just me, you, and doh.
