i would love to expand on the scene at rutgers. there are dozens upon dozens of kids who play for fun in their dorms/houses but don't ever do anything competitive. if only we could open their EYES

A good way to do that would be to organize a casual tournament. Giving people a reason to want to be way better than their friends is usually the first step to getting them motivated to learn some advanced stuff. That's how it was at UMBC where I found all the new Maryland players.

There will probably be more coming to this than the 13 confirmed on Facebook (11 others are Maybes also). Not everybody uses Facebook and people can show up last minute.
We need to advertise more to local colleges and universities who aren't on the forums or Facebook group. Those places are gold mines!

Get hyped guys. I'm setting the main recording set up similar to how it would be at "big two", which is the most popular Ultimate Marvel stream every wednesday night. At big two / next level battle circuit, each player get's their own personal television (on the main stream). They sit across from each other and have their own space to work with. This also makes it easier for the streamer to aim camera's at the players.

At the very beginning of the video it appears as if they are each sitting in separate areas, but then at 10:35 when they shake hands you can see how it is set up.

BTW, I am not a fan of that stage since it is ridiculously big, has funky ledges and incredibly boring because of lack of platforms. Though it would be entertaining to watch others play on it.
