Huh. That's pretty cool. Probably fake, but it'd be neat if it turned out to be real. I'm seeing screenshots from the website though. = /

It was determined fake a loooooong time ago. Besides, the characters are too oddly spaced. Both 64 and Melee had the starting roster characters all grouped together and questions marks surrounding the characters.

Also, the fact that most of the newcomers aren't shown is another give away. The newcomers probably won't be secret characters after announcing them and putting them on the website. <_<

I'm skeptical as well, but a couple of friends of mine somehow found a leaked versionn (japanese of course) and said brawl was supposed to go well into the 40-50 characters range.


more than likely they're bs'ing, but they've been looking for more leaks on brawl than your grandmother checks her depends, so that's gotta say something haha

SD Card. Clever, but unoriginal.

1. Why the hell would the starting characters be scattered out like that? All starting characters will most likely be crammed together in the center of the screen, and then spread out later when more characters are unlocked. Just like the majority of other previous games, and Melee itself.

2. The character select screen does somewhat resemble attributes we've seen of the layout from the DOJO, but it is overall a little bit too unorganized. Plus, the screen is black, when the background in images show the select screen is in fact, white.​

I would push myself to find more mistakes in this image, such as Peach not being a starting character... but, I think that was more than enough reason for anyone to realize that this is a phony. Nothing will be leaked from the game, so why don't people just stop trying?

Fake. Look at Luigi... that's the same exact pic from Melee. I think the fact that they made it look like what they showed on the "Names" section of the dojo is a nice touch though. Now can we please close this like the other 5 or so threads that had this exact same picture posted.

The art of Luigi, Ganondorf, and Falcon are all reused old art, and Ike's icon comes from a screen of him on the site, not official art. So yeah, it's pretty much completely fake, unless Sakurai decided to be lazy and not have new designs for those three characters.
