Brawl/Melee tournament in Marysville WA

What's up?
I'm Tyler Mackey from Marysville WA.
I'm from Space Station Games.
I'm looking at the possibility of hosting a Brawl/Melee tournament in March.
$10 per person, bring your own equitment (not everyone needs to I just don't have to much of my own)

I'm going to be 2v2, and 1v1's.

1st gets %50
2nd gets %25
3rd gets %10

We provided soda, chips, ect.

If anyone is interested let me know.

You seem like you're new to the tourney scene. Have you ever hosted/attended a smash tournney before?

This isnt nearly enough info for a tourney.

take a look in the tournament listings section to see how others do it. If you've never attended a smash tourney hosted by someone from the boards, go to one of those to get a feel for what youll be doing. Smash tourneys are a lot more work than you may think.

EDIT: and 50%+25%+10% =/= 100. Is the remaining money going towards the venue? If so, make a separate venue fee. People usually frown on taking money out of the pot; smash tourneys arent places to make money. unless you win, of course.
