Wow, and it just so happens I'll be in Osaka on the 13th! I imagine it's the same demo as the one at Jump Festa, though. :ohwell:

Ug...not fair. The whole world *or so it seems* has played that demo already, and I haven't, :'( Why couldn't they just release a demo to buyers? The HAD To put it up on the west coast, as far from me as possible. And now in japan, again, as far from me as possible. :(

Get a grip, man.

I think it's safe to say that 95% of those who would love nothing better than to try out the demo were not able to. That would probably include a number of JP players too (after all, just b/c you're in Japan doesn't mean you'll necessarily get to attend every event, any more than a native on the West Coast would be a sure-in to have attended E For All).

So, again...get over it. Life's not fair. But all things come to he who's willing to wait.

So, are we using this thread or ShortFuse's thread? Well, anyway, we all know Brawl is going to be different at every big event they go to really. They can't have it being the same demo you know or else riots would pour in Japan. Those Japanese sure love their Super Smash Bros. and anime and manga. (That anime convention two weeks ago was packed and the demo played was like a 4 hour wait I hear. Or was that the new Tales of Symphonia...?)

Expect a few characters at least to be different in that demo. Hopefully, they will unveil another 3rd party and tell us its delayed again tonight lmao. That be the worst. ;( I just made myself depressed.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Snake being in it (advertisement purposes and his profile in the Dojo is complete) and probably Lucas and/or PK Trainer. People know everything about these three now since E For All and it would be the best way to show how these three newcomers play really. Is Lucas's play similar to Ness, or is he faster or more powerful or has better recovery/dodge pace? Does Snake play a lot physically like Falcon or is set he set to have a movelist of martial arts? Where DOES that PK Trainer stand in the sidescrolling stages (Mario's Ride, Rumble Falls, the Summit, Battleship Halberd) and gimmick stages (Norfair, Brinstar, Frigate Orpheon) That's what I'm looking forward to this Saturday evening.

From experience, people will flock to the thread with the information. This can be the official WHobby Anticipation thread but once we start digging information on the other thread this thread will probably fade out.

I'll leave both open. One big massive thread for everything Japanese will get too convoluted in no time. It's alright to have a big thread with a lot of Japanese links, like ShortFuse's, then to have other, more specific threads. Just so long as no other World Hobby Fair threads pop up, we're good :)

if they use the same game for all the events and one of those events is after the japanese release, then what if the game isn't a demo, but the full game? it's possible right?
