For you people that attract weird people, if they're weird or not as a person, they're going to seem strange no matter what when they're crushing on you. That's why whenever you talk to a girl you're interested in dating, the most solid advice is don't care. Be yourself, don't think about it, and if you have a crush, don't let it be a crush. Just go with the flow and if you talk to him/her enough they hopefully will show some sort of interest in you.

I've been married for 4 years now, which has been pretty neat. MY wife was really cool because on my wedding day I had a medical issue and was basically grounded/in bed for a few months. It's mostly resolved, but that was good she tried to make that horrible experience better.

Naw, I don't have anyone like that. And it's often that I lie in bed, mulling over the fact that I don't have anyone like that to sit in my room with the real me, play the games I like, watch the TV shows that I like, hear me yell at the games and TV shows that I like, or call me on the phone to talk, or just set up plans, or whatever.

And that's when I start laughing. MAN, would it suck to have someone like a potential long-term S/O be around you at times like those, and have them think something like, "ew, this guy is nuts/weird". That's what me-time is all about.

I've been married for almost 3 years now, and honestly wouldn't have it any other way. Once you find the person for you, your days of singlehood will be gone, but you'll love that person so much you won't miss the past like that.

There's a tangent: how many of you in long-term deals have kids? I am nearing 4 years of marriage, but we are planning to have none.

Both me and my wife have jobs though hers is part-time and only 3 times a week. She is into photography so we are trying to set her up so she can do that on the side. We dated for 2 years and then got married on Valentines Day. We had our official wedding back in September. As I am about to finish my job and will be job searching, we are holding off on kids until I can secure another job. We get along pretty well despite being fairly different people. We both have a love for movies, music, traveling, and animals though she dislikes video games (though she does like Pikmin) and anything "nerdy". So she hates things like Star Wars, manga/anime, and internet forums....which I love. Despite that, we make things work and love each other very much.

My advice to all the single people out there: be yourself and don't give up. Don't second guess yourself into thinking they aren't into you. You never know. Work what you feel is best for you. But the single life is pretty nice
