Hey there, everyone.

I was messing around with Villager a while ago and "discovered" something. If it's old, please lock the thread.

You know how Villager goes into his Falling State animation after bumping into a wall while riding a Loid Rocket, right? Well, if performed directly in the wall, he can keep doing so and "stop" mid-air for a moment, while doing so, he gets his wall jump back, and thus, repeating the whole process over and over.

This is more like a proof of concept. I did the video with the 3DS version, just to post it quickly:

um we've been knowing this since the demo and before the patch it was even deadlier as the explosion could KO Mario at 50
Oh wait the wall jump huh I guess that can help with stalling not like villager needs to stall more

This is pretty neat. I like to recover low on wall stages sometimes as a mix up; i just crash into the wall and when Villager pops up he clings to the ledge. This could catch people off guard, forma while at least.

Yeah, it's pretty much another stalling/recovery technique, since you get your wall jump back after a few seconds. Practical? Maybe.

I didn't think about getting the wall jump back...

Time to time stall people on For Glory! ;)

In the beginning I was like "Oh we've already seen this for a while..."

Then I was like

"Oh my goodness <3"

This is gonna be so fun to troll my friends.

...even more =P

LOOOOL

I time stalled a Mac on for glory after killing him once up until the 1 minute mark with this tech (Grabbed the ledge like twice or three times) where he rage haymakered me and died of free fall.

This is beautiful.

When I'm not spending hours upon hours learning new tech for Villy or polishing old tech, this is how I spend my time.

You know the Fox Reflector glitch?
I killed a fox twice with lloid 0 --> 74% in the same match yesterday :)

Also important to note, this works even better on stages like Omega Castle Siege or the docked form of Halberd, where it's not a straight wall. If it's straight down, it's not that difficult for certain opponents to approach. If they have to approach around a curve, it's much more of a chore for them.
