I was thinking in the long run. We could do one of two things.
1. Simply shift the privilege over to the next mod that posts.
2. Consider it void and move on.

I guess the logic can go as this.
If a mod doesn't pick, the "changing of avatars" privilege goes to the next mod.
If the second mod doesn't pick as well. We consider it a "draw" (no avatars changed) and move on.
