Some construction workers and vehicles have been working on my street all morning. Right outside my house, too.

Right now, it mostly seems to be the cement mixer. An extremely loud ****ing cement mixer.

Ah well. It'll stop eventually. I'll be fine as long as it doesn't last an entire month like it did a few years ago (my family had to put up with hearing constant hammers and grinding for an entire month if my memory serves me right. Hell, I don't remember it perfectly, but I know it went on for a long time, so it might've gone on for even longer than one month).

I joined with the main intention of meeting new people actually. It was summer and I had no one to talk to.

February 2013 me: "I'd like to join Smashboards, maybe then I can make some friends with some other fans in the scene and can play Brawl with them".

What ended up happening instead was me joining the Smash 4 Speculation Scene. Took me several months before I regularly started hanging out in the Brawl forums.

2014 me: "Once speculation is over, I'm gonna try and get into the competitive scene."

That didn't happen either and now I spend most of my time here in the Forum Games and in a couple other social threads as well.
