Well I'm not exactly sure. . . i know that it stacks to a point where you can see the yellow piles and wipe them off, but I'm not sure exactly what the levels are. All i heard that most places on the north american continent have levels up to the thousands (for record high is considered around 120 to 150) so its bad everywhere from what ive heard
Luckily from me pollen doesn't do much, so I'm fine
Basically its a self imposed challenge where one only allows them self to catch a single pokemon per area and release or permanently box those that faint/die196

A Nuzlocke is where you play a pokemon game, but you can only catch 1 Pokemon in each area you go to, and if a pokemon faints, It's dead, and you can't use it again. There are other rules, but those are the only ones at you have to use.

After grinding Lily and A10 a bit since Ground types destroy them, I proceeded onward to Viridian City's Gym where only half the trainers have Ground types in a Ground type gym. I don't get it either. I approach the gym leader who turns out to be Giovanni, gasp. He's prepared to destroy me but I've got an amazing strategy that the strongest of opponents cannot overcome... Ken used Ice Beam, it's super effective! Ken used Surf. It's super effective! (x4) Giovanni stood no chance and he hands me the Earth Badge and TM26 Earthquake. Soon after, I head out to the Pokemon League only to be greeted by my rival once more. He challenges me to a battle to warm him up for the league. Ken took care of him easily because of a little something he learned in Viridian City's gym: Acid Armor. It raises your physical defense by two stages, combined with Ken's high HP and good special defense, hitting Ken was like trying to break a diamond with a rubber chicken, it was no use. The next step is to prepare for Victory Road. Pokemon League, here I come.
