Insane ones need a reminder of WHO or WHAT made them insane in the first place... :demon:
I've decided to keep my sanity. After all, I need something to lose during the Smash direct, seeing as Sakurai already stole all my money with DLC.

You're on a thread where people count to a number before a mod/admin does.
Sanity left us long ago.

Your sanity has progressed to a level where you can't even count.

Ooh, seems someone has also watched Blood Lad.

You. I like your taste in anime. The manga is still better, if only for the fact the anime only adapts a part of it and leaves it way too open ended for its own good and nothing about a second season was ever considered.

Anyway, I do remember that scene in which they make fun of the nosebleed cliché. :p The series does make fun of anime tropes, which is what makes it great.

Well, I'm being too positive already. >:)
Blood Lad was a really fun anime. It is a real shame it only got 10 episodes and no plans for a continuation. Yeah, the anime had lots of references to various other shounen battle series and made fun of the typical tropes. Needs more Staz and Fuyumi getting together though. I might need to read the manga.

As soon as you enter this thread, you sanity runs away.
Hence, Evil Tyrannical Overlord Frostwraith here.

Read the manga because the plot actually becomes deeper and characters get more fleshed out. If you want to see how things unfold after the anime's ending, reading the manga will suffice.

I highly doubt they'll do a second season, especially since it's been 2 years since that anime ended and there hasn't been any word on that, not to mention the series probably isn't popular enough to warrant a new anime season (unlike, say, Attack on Titan).

The anime did feel rushed as some of the characters introduced later have a more important role in the manga, especially Wolf Daddy (you know, the current Demon King who killed Staz's father, who was the previous Demon King). (It's really a shame as he's voiced by Norio Wakamoto.)

Of note is how the anime omits a few details and jokes (not much), so I recommend you to read the manga from the beginning, rather than from the point the anime ends.

Well, I ended up typing a lot more than I expected... Well, it is one of my favorite manga series, so that might be the explanation. :p

And now I'm taking my leave. See ya, kiddies. *turns on jetpack and flies away*
