There were a few times where I spoke about my father...

I lied, he's not my father...at least, not biologically.

My mother was cheating on my real father since I was 2. I met the guy she cheated him with and even his family!

My real father left us to go back to Manitoba (Yes, I'm half Manitoban, half Quebecker) when I was 4, finally aware of what was going on between her and that guy.

Since I knew him two years prior, the change in relationship went quite smoothly and, 8 years later, I started to consider him like my own father...

Never saw my real father since...and never wanted to...

I agree with Kon; you haven't seen winter until you saw the Canadian one.

You'll see snow (or, as my friends often call it, white ****) differently when you live through a Canadian winter.

my dad was adopted.. I don't think he ever saw his real parents. Though I know I don't really care if I don't see my real Grandparents from my Father's side. You can't change the memories an individual has had over the years
