You're on the right track; it is from a survival horror game. Just... None of those.

EDIT: TheDarkMetaKnight just said the answer. It is a Necromorph known as a Divider, from the Dead Space series.

So I've finally finished watching Friendship Games. It's good, I like it more than RR though I prefer RR's songs over what FG has (though what it had was still good). Oh, and I actually liked Sci-Twi here so that's one thing I liked about FG among other things.

In my opinion, the FG songs didn't top the best of RR, but some there were still pretty awesome nonetheless. "Acadeca", "What More is Out There", "Right There in Front of Me", and "Dance Magic" are my top favorites from this movie.

A lot of people say that....and I agree.

However, RR's main theme is music while FG's is essentially the X-Games, in a way, so it's not really surprising.

Also, Rainbow Rocks has the best music in all of MLP, period.
