In the height of a zombie apocalypse, guns are kinda risky, as unused bullets are hard to collect, whereas arrows you can use infinitely. A machete works with great effect, as well. Learned that from watching The Walking Dead.

Dead Rising 2 showed me that duct tape is your best friend in those situations.
