my guess is hacked, still its a bit enjoyable and more challenging than the normal, I'm at the second gym and so far it doesn't seem to cause any problems.

No, a friend gave me a hacked version and while telling my experience of the game, he thought that i got a fake game and wanted to show the differences between a real and fake.

Or by what you meant was that if it was rare that people would make fake copies of it, in which case that doesn't really matter, any game out there has someone make fakes of it, it doesn't matter if its rare or common, as long as people buy it.
