Almost all my dreams are nightmarish in some way,lol. That particular dream I didn't realize was a dream till I woke.

It was either night or early morning, and the wind was blowing very hard. It made a whistling noise and the trees were bent halfway over. I was standing at the window, then turned to get back in bed. As I reached the bed, the roof blew off and the wind snatched me up. I grasped onto the bedspread but that very quickly flew off along with me. So the dream ended a second later with me flying through the air. I thought I was done for.

Sounds terrifying. Nightmares are always nasty things to experience...

I don't think I've ever been in a dream where I've nearly died. (or if I did, I would survive instead of the dream ending right there and it would continue on for a while)

I think the worst nightmare I had was only about four. I dreamed that my mother and grandmother got into our car at a parking lot and then drove away without me. That was actually literally it, only lasting about five seconds at most, but I remember hearing myself shout "Wait" seeing the car drive away, and feeling horribly abandoned.

Damn, that's a really sad one.....you actually made me cry

But my nightmares are usually ending with me dying in various way: getting torn apart by a tornado, eaten by an alligator, shot, ran over by a car, fatalitied, shot, brutally beaten up, shot, heart attacks from tramatizingly disturbing jumpscares, shot, suicide (yes, it happened, but only once), shot.... Did I mention getting shot?

And, of course, I wake up right after "dying"

That sounds even more horrifying, outright dying in the dream. Especially through so many different means.

I once had a weird dream involving hmm.....well, it was like a few people I knew IRL were meeting with the Scooby-Doo gang at a haunted house. I ended up going off somewhere to follow some anthromorphic warthog, which led me to a HUGE secret lab of some kind (the height difference between the floor and ceiling was insane) I ended up having to grab onto a platform suspended by chains hung very high above the lab's floor. I was only holding onto it with my hands, and the chains made it sway and shake after I jumped and grabbed onto it (I tried to land on it but failed) I immediately started screaming for help, but no one could hear me. I remember managing to climb up, jump off and leave the lab though.

It was a really weird dream, but it was also the closest I've ever been to a near-death experience in one of them.

Also I was actually left somewhere when I was younger.. my mom went to one of my Friends house to do something while me and my brothers stayed in the van. I got bored so I went out of the can to play on their playground they had. When my mother was finished she left me there not noticing that I wasn't seating in my seat (i was in the passenger's seat). I started running after the van but it was too fast so I started going back.. Luckily she noticed I wasn't there because she had gone to the school (which was relatively nearby) due to my brother forgetting something at the school..
