Was it a neighborhood effect or did your own power get messed up somehow? I've experienced both, and the former is usually much worse because getting it back is totally out of our control.

It wasn't long thank God. It was around an hour and a half. Of which I've been through worse.

I've been through much worse than that as well. Blackouts are truly a pain.

Yeesh. Never gone THAT long without power.

What I usually do to pass time is play some Card Games with my family or just play on one of my handheld games for a bit.

I love the Internet and all but a Blackout doesn't make me freak out over it. Now if my computer got burned out from the power outage on the other hand.... (some of the older computers in my house have suffered from that before, but they were extremely old, slow, laggy and in summary, crap. Losing them in particular was not a loss for any of us).

I've had to sleep during blackouts before too. Which shouldn't seem like it would matter since it's always pitch perfect black for you to get some shut-eye, but when you have to go to the bathroom....
