I don't think it'll feel too different with out Monty, he didn't work on it all by himself so I'm sure the rest of the RWBY crew now what to do to make sure it still feels like the series we've come to love.

Well, there is that mysterious woman that saved Yang from Neo who I believe is either Yang's mom or Ruby's mom, and there's Blake's former mentor. I know they're not new but we know next to nothing about the two so it'd be nice to see more of them, especially the mysterious woman.

I already knew about Adam (Blake's former mentor) and considering how V2 ended, he will definetely have a major role in V3.

Ruby's mom is confirmed to be dead, so the mysterious woman (who was called Raven in the V2 credits) is definetely Yang's mother. (I know they're sisters, but it's not the same woman who gave birth to both)

But personally, I wanna see more Neo. Her dialogue is simply perfect

The main reason I believe it could be Ruby's mom is because she has black(ish) hair like Ruby and her color scheme is almost identical to Ruby's which is common between parents and their children in anime. And now after reading SG's post never mind about this.
