Well, me and my mom had a talk about whether it was alright for me to purchase dolls. She said she was going to say 'yes,' but then, she said, young men have to: ( I can't remember all of what she said, nor did I understand it, due to how quickly and quietly she was talking, ) "put things away, and take hold of the reigns, so to speak." That much I do remember. ( I think she said, 'so to speak,' like 3 times throughout this little talk, lol. )

She was very sympathetic, and kept asking me what I thought, if I understand where she was coming from, etc. I just gave her the answers she wanted, even though I wanted to tell her the truth; that I thought it was a great piece of nonsense.
