It certainly is a shame to see Goola ( my sister, ) fall prey to the extreme pro Christian propaganda that gets flung around this house.

I'm so glad I allowed myself personal freedom to explore the internet, and discover that atheists aren't demons, people can have different beliefs, and everyone who isn't a Christian is not evil spawn from Hades.

The funny thing about all this is really, when you think about it, there is no truly objective answer to the existence or non-existence deities. Yes we still throw it around ideas like we're right and the other side is wrong, when in reality we're all running the same race trying to make sense of the world.

Everyone is entitled to believe what they want to believe. But when people start shoving their beliefs down people's throats is when they go too far. I just want to know the truth and sometimes you can't get that from what people say because of bias and refusal of wanting to understand how things really are (with some things)

Religion is one of the world's most controversial topics solely because of the anger and bias that lurks with many of humanity's minds, and it's also one of the things that can personally hurt people when such arguing is involved. (or if not personally hurt, it instead just raises even more brutal rage)

There's nothing wrong with being raised into a particular religion or belief, but then comes the people who want to shove their own beliefs down everyone else's throats and refuse to just have a simple disagreement on the matter. That's where the primary issue lies.
