Technically though they serve different purposes in WW. Sure they both get you to higher or otherwise unreachable areas, but you don't always have the option to use either in many locations.

Plus, only the Grappling Hook can steal spoils from monsters.

Clawshots also technically serve some different purpose as they cannot grapple onto most common wooden surfaces.

They're still a lot more fun to use as Double Clawshots though~
