Does anyone else get these while playing Smash on project64? Sometimes I don't get any for the entire day, other days it will happen over and over again.

It's becoming extremely annoying, any help would be appreciated!

My PC: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13, Nvidia 8800 GTS, 2 gigs RAM, Windows XP SP3

Try to identify what kind of error you are getting on the BSOD, that kind of errors are most likely because of a faulty hardware device or its drivers. in other cases they may be caused by a virus corrupting vital system files.

It says there's an error with my Nvidia display drivers, but I have the latest drivers and this is the only game where I get blue screens.

happens to Frog and me with Pj64k/3d8 if we drag another window over pj64k.

happens with me and pj64k/3d7 as well.

I've switched to 3d6 1.5.2 (you can at least see the hand) whenever I don't feel like using 3d8 now.

Upgrade RAM, it's relatively cheap and will stop random crashes as long as you don't run like 10 things in the background.
2GB is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than necessary for SSB. Obv more RAM is just about always better, but that won't solve his problem. EDIT: In fact, if he isn't running 64-bit XP, then it won't detect any more than 3GB IIRC.

I've never received a BSOD before, but sometimes my display driver will stop responding (it recovers after like 30 seconds). I'm using an ATI card though.

I used to have windows ME back in the day and I swear I got a BSOD almost every day. Especially while playing diablo 2.

Since I got XP I've had fewer than 10 though.

this only happens to me when i drag the chat window off of the game window while the ROM is running. so to avoid it, i always position my windows where i want them before i start

yeah, same thing for me, just don't click on and off the game, it helps prevent glitches/d/cs

This has happened to me in the past and I've figured its probably due to some graphics issue (at least in my case). Since then I've used the OpenGL render engine of the newest Rice Video and it has cut down on the crashes significantly.

A program like "Always On Top" can also be helpful since it keeps anything from going in front of the pj64k window.
